What does ‘grade so far’ mean?
It is your weighted average across only the components you've entered, ignoring any weight not yet accounted for. It shows how you're doing on completed work.
Do the weights need to add up to 100?
Not necessarily. The calculator shows your total weight so you can see how much is left. ‘Grade so far’ works with whatever weight you've entered.
