Privacy Policy
Last updated 4 June 2026
This policy explains, in plain terms, how Ironroot handles information. We’ve tried to keep it short and honest.
Tools run in your browser
The large majority of Ironroot tools work entirely on your device. When you type into a word counter, password generator or similar tool, that text is processed in your browser and is not sent to or stored on our servers.
Information we collect
- Basic analytics. We may use privacy-friendly analytics to understand which pages and tools are popular. This uses aggregated data and does not identify you personally.
- Messages you send us. If you email us or use the suggest-a-tool form, we receive the details you choose to share so we can reply and act on your idea.
Cookies
Ironroot aims to keep cookies to a minimum. Some browser storage may be used to remember preferences such as saved favourite tools. This stays on your device.
Third-party links
Some pages may link to other websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, so please review their policies.
Changes
We may update this policy as Ironroot grows. Material changes will be reflected by the date at the top of this page.
